The Associated Student Government and Headliners Concert Committee invite students to attend the fourth annual Chancellor’s Ball from 8 p.m. to midnight Friday, Oct. 20, at the Fayetteville Town Center, 15 W. Mountain St. in downtown Fayetteville.

The Chancellor’s Ball is free to every currently enrolled student at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. The 2017 Chancellor’s Ball will feature a concert from joan and Ben Rector as well as the reveal of the Homecoming Court.

Students will be able to pick up a ticket to the Chancellor’s Ball from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 18-19, outside of Arkansas Union A665. Students will need to bring their student ID to pick up their ticket. Doors for ticket holders will open at 7 p.m. on the night of the event. Students who pick up their ticket in advance should still bring their UARK ID with them to the event.

Students will also be able to enter the Ball the night of the event if tickets are available and they have their student ID. Walk-up tickets for the Ball will be available beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20. Students should bring their UARK ID to claim their ticket and are strongly encouraged to set up a HogSync profile before the event.

The Chancellor’s Ball will include light refreshments and live music from opening act joan and headliner Ben Rector. The student body will also kick off Homecoming week with the announcement of the 2017 Homecoming Court.  Bag checks will be performed prior to entering the Ball and no backpacks will be allowed inside the Town Center. Cocktail attire is encouraged as the dress for the event.

Free shuttle service will be provided to students who would like transportation to the Fayetteville Town Center. Shuttles will run from the Harmon Avenue Parking Facility and Hotz Hall Driveway to the Fayetteville Town Center and back beginning at 6:30 p.m. and ending at midnight.
