Safe Ride City operates Wednesday through Saturday nights from 10:30 pm-3:00 am and provides service from anywhere in the Fayetteville city limits to your official residence as indicated in UA Connect.
When should I use Safe Ride?
Several reasons to use Safe Ride include:
- An uncomfortable date
- Keys are locked in the car
- Stranded at an undesirable location
- Car trouble
- Studying on campus after Razorback Transit has ceased operations for the night
- Need a sober ride home
- Need a ride from a distant parking lot
- Do not wish to walk home in the dark
- Accidentally left behind by your ride home
What is Safe Ride NOT to be used for?
Using the service in these situations results in long wait times and potential escalation of dangerous situations for students who truly need the service.
How does Safe Ride work?
- Call 479-575-7233 (SAFE) Did you know the Safe Ride number is on the back of your student ID? Take a look!
